    Default (L) Cardinals 6 - 9 at Brewers 8 - 8 Martinez vs Davis - 7:10 Start - GDT

Well we should be able to score more than 2 runs and still win tonight.

Cards keep winning and start hitting.

    Cards 7 - Brewers 1.

The Cards are -750 in Vegas for this game. That's how well they're playing right now.

A's, Astros, Cardinals, White Sox, Padres, Reds are among the teams with strong interest in OF prospect Luis Robert. #Cuba @MLBPipeline

Yep, this one's a biggie. Everything hinged on MLB clearing him before some date in June, at which point Robert becomes part of next year's international signing pool where the Cardinals are dead. Since they've already gone way over on this year's, though, it's my understanding that the sky's the limit, and that Robert grades out very, very highly.

Per The Cat, Peralta to the DL, Lyons activated. 13 pitchers...

Yeah, let's not do anything drastic, like get rid of Broxton. Instead, DL a guy who has at least a chance of contributing.

That's a new one. Guess it can be backdated to 4/16, the day after he last played, and he could technically come off the DL as early as next Wednesday.

Considering it's a 10 day DL now and he's already on day 5, it might be legit.

True, but you're still stuck with one player too many, since Lyons is out of options.

I'm sure someone will get hurt over the weekend and solve the problem, as usual.

Your original idea seems like the best. I'll take my chances with Soco and Lyons(both out of options) than Broxton.

Very unlikley. Not many options to choose from. Bowman is probably the only reliever left with options and he's not going anywhere. Not sending Jose Martinez back at this point unless they call up another OF. I would prefer to keep Garcia up.

    Good thing hockey is on.

Looks like the PECOTA projections for Carlos might be right after all. First start was a fluke.

I wish CMart would put as much emphasis on his pitches as he does the coloring of his hair.
