Need a #1 center, a power wing, and a goalie.

    Why is Shatty still here?!?

We could ask Detroit for Maersk and send them Allen and 22

    Damn.

Sure wish we had a Captain who answered the bell. Tough to watch that fight.
As far as I know, & what I don't know in this town ain't worth knowing, the cops haven't closed any of your dives
& the D.A. hasn't touched any of your rackets. You haven't bought any license to kill bookies, & today I ain't sellin' any.
So take your flunky and dangle.

Backes with the player equivalent of fans saying "fuck this game" starts a fight and takes himself out of the game for 17 minutes.

Well, yeah. Rask doesn't hold his glove like my five year old holds a tennis racket.

Going to have to make some hard decisions about the heaping pile of garbage which is Jake Allen.

4 points out of the 6 game homestand. 61% of our remaining games on the road. Buh-bye, playoffs.

Dougie Fresh looked at the success of last season, surveyed the scene, and decided to take a huge fucking piss all over the Blues' fan base, while getting us the finger as well.

    Not rebuilding of course.

    Fucking Good Contracts.

41 games since last won consecutive games. No reason to expect things to improve. Fault solely on Armstrong.

Roster is not built for 5 on 5 success. You don't defend well when you don't fore check, don't win board battles and hem teams in. You defend well when you possess the puck which this team doesn't for those reasons.

This team wasn't always that skilled and certainly not fast but was at least heavy and for checked well with their size. Now they're not fast, skilled or heavy.

No first line center. No heavy game. Just a blah group of forwards reliant on the power play.

And Jake continues to blow. Hitchcock said they never anticipated Jake to struggle this bad and it's first time facing adversity as a starter. Maybe that's why you should how he handles being a starter before signing him long term to good $$. His glove hand is awful among other things. I don't see him ever being good enough.

Hope I wake up to some productive trade.
