This newest article in Variety sounds pretty bleak. http://variety.com/2016/biz/news/car...rs-1201947925/

With the details known, it's hard to see much hope of recovery.

Flatlining for 15 minutes or so is usually pretty bad.

I flatlined for a few seconds at the university hospital in Vegas. I like to say me and Tupac died in the same hospital.

Well, for starters I had a father and stepfather who were both seemingly fine and in good shape suddenly collapse from massive heart attacks, unconscious before they hit the floor. Both were essentially already dead even as immediate CPR, electronic defib, and everything else that could be done for them was done by those of us nearby and then paramedics who arrived within 5 minutes in each case.

But you don't need to be a doctor or have personal experience to know this stuff. If you've taken a CPR class or worked a summer as a lifeguard or gotten a merit badge in first aid you know how this works.

If she was without a measurable pulse or breathing for 10 minutes (stated in multiple reports, from TMZ to The Hollywood Reporter), that's really bad. Now, it may be that those details are an exaggeration or are incorrect. That would be awesome, and I'm hoping against hope that that's the case. That there was a paramedic and doctor on her flight performing CPR the entire time helps her odds as well.

(There are links to the other reports in the Star Wars thread. Here: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...-report-959091)

I discovered a few weeks ago her daughter actually is a major character on Fox's Scream Queens. She play Chanel 2, the one who always wears the matching accessory ear muffs.

Stable condition says nothing. You can be brain dead and be stable. You can actually be dead and be stable.

Well dead's about as stable as it gets, but I think we can take that to mean that she's alive and not in danger of imminent death, but possibly, as you say, in terrible shape.
