Default The See who died today thread; The joke's up on Don Rickles

DAVIE, Fla. - Danny Joe Brown, the lead singer of the Southern rock band Molly Hatchet, died of complications from diabetes, his family said Monday. He was 53.

Doesn't sound like he died Flirtin' With Disaster.

BUT...He may have died FROM Flirtin' With Disaster...

If you believe in something sacrifice a hobo to it or don't bother.

    No way.
But wait. There is something that can be done afterall. My good friend Angelo is a cop in the Tampa/Clearwater area. Since I kept all of the files from the access logs when I had the power to see them, guess what, I have everyone's IP addresses. Hmm..what can I do w/ those??

Well, 53 is just too young. I'm sure that there are dreams he'll never see. Have to admit though for a hard rocker, he sure tried 'beatin the odds. I wonder if he was a satisfied man? Oh well, doesn't matter, because its all over now. But one thing's for sure, he will boogie no more.

Molly Hatchet's cover of Gregg Allman's "Dreams" goes down in my book as the worst in pop music history. They took a wonderfly rythmic and soulful song and destroyed it with their odd southern/hard rock blend.

It's still to bad the guy passed away so young. JJ.

Well first of all, I can't imagine anyone in history doing it better than the original.

And the Hatchet version does suck.

"Flirtin With Disaster" was my first 8-track tape.
