Guessing I'd appreciate watching this show if I watched BB first. I want to check it out but I feel like I'll be missing a bit of inside stuff that goes on even if the show is set prior to BB.

Are you watching Breaking Bad now?

Tossing it on now. Trying to keep expectations low.

When did it air? Not finding any torrents.

Torrents just came up for me a few minutes ago. Give it a few and it should show.

Negative. I'm probably going to start it in the next week or so.

Didn't watch all of breaking bad, and I didn't feel lost at all. It was a really good episode. Looking forward to tonight.

The opening segment at Cinnabon might not have made much sense, but other than that you wouldn't need to know anything.

Love the style and camera work on the show. You can tell the old BB crew is back.

Yeah, I've watched a good three or so seasons of BB. I knew the character somewhat. I just assumed, given his sleeziness, that he got into some trouble and was hiding out elsewhere, working at a Cinnabon.

No shit. My wife asked how much they paid for that product placement.

Cinnabon in Omaha was a direct reference to a line from Breaking Bad. It might have been paid product placement, but considering his original line was using it as a derogatory place of employment I doubt it.

I was surprised by how many people didn't remember that line and thought that sequence was before everything or was some sort of dream. Wat.

You kidding me? I had a hankering for cinnamon rolls as soon as I saw them cutting up that dough. Then again, I'm a fattie.

I would be hugely surprised if they did NOT get some money for that.
