Thread: The Dinner Thread...

    Default The Dinner Thread...

I'm a little surprised there's a lunch thread over here but not a dinner thread, you have pretty strong night crew.

Grilled bone-in pork chop, medium, w/sautéed shitakes, baked Rosemary Yukon Gold potato chunks, nice salad with HVR...

Red Robin whilst shopping for birthday presents.

We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people.

Don't ya love how these insideSTL guys are always all "OMG the search function here is tuuuurrible!!!", but I never had a problem with it ever. I imagine them pumping gas and not being sure if the nozzle goes in the gastank or the trunk.

Don't ya love that some of these TP guys get up every morning for the sole purpose of being assholes?

Hot roast beef w/melted Swiss, Roma tomatoes, and light mayo on lightly-toasted Italian bread, and a nice salad w/Valenti's creamy house.

Ribeye. Pan seared because I'm lazy and don't feel like firing up the grill.

Why would you ruin that perfect cut of beef like that?

Got a full slab of St. Louis style ribs from Kenrick's and smoked them bad boys. Best rack I've done yet. They were unbelievably good.

Coat thoroughly with Famous Dave's Rub

Put in the smoker for about 2-3 hours at around 225F, spraying every half hour with a mix of 1tbs apple cider, vinegar, 2tbs worchestershire, and 8 oz. apple juice.

Take off the smoker place in pan, cover with foil, and back for about an 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours in the oven at 260F

Take out of oven, put on grill and lightly baste with sauce of choice over medium heat to caramelize the sauce.

    Enjoy.

Because I hate beef and only like eating it in the worst possible ways.

Unfortunately, it was still pretty delicious.

I've tried using the search function the other day to see the first post where I used the word "sriracha". I search for "posts" and by my username only. All the search would return was any thread that contained the word sriracha.

    Thanks, Obama.

I must not have clicked on the "search single content type" menu tab. I was not getting the option to 'show results as'.

    Thanks.

That you call making fun of people that can't perform the simplest of tasks an "obsession" is funny to me.
