Watched Dallas Buyers Club last night. Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto were quite amazing.

Matthew McConaughey is weird looking when he gets all skinny for roles.

It would have been more tolerable if hanke had used "Thinking about starting a movie thread" as the title.

I liked the new Riddick. It amused me in a B-movie sort of way. Barely had anything to do w/ Chronicles. Much more in the vein of Pitch Black.

I also watched Man of Steel. I really enjoyed the first two-thirds of the movie, but that final third - ugh.

So I've never seen Blade Runner (I know, I know). I ordered the 30th anniversary collector's edition, and it came with the following versions of the movie: The Final Cut, Theatrical Cut, International Theatrical Cut, and Director's Cut. Where should I start?

Watched a movie I'd never heard of before last weekend. "Hard Eight", with John C Reilly, Gwyneth Paltrow, Samuel L Jackson and an actor I've seen a hundred times on tv and movies but never knew his name, Philip Baker Hall. It was an intriguing movie, not great but good.

I've got the Director's Cut on DVD, I think. It's cool, but I don't know all the differences. Great movie, but a slow pace. I think I've tried to get my wife to watch it twice, and she fell asleep both times.
