I'm thinking about picking up these bad boys for something to wear in the winter time. What do you fellas think?

I think they're awful. Are they supposed to be tennis shoes, boots, boat shoes or what?

I like them because they're a spin on a traditional boat or duck shoe and they can be dressed up or down. I like fashion that's a little flamboyant.

That's really not flamboyant. They can't be dressed up either. They would look ridiculous with anything dressier than Old Navy khakis.

Their shoe guide was a revelation for me.

Here's what they said about hybrids:

Avoid - Sneaker/dress shoe hybrids like the ones from Sketchers, Rockport and Clarks. You know what I'm referring to. They're overdetailed, overcomplicated and overpriced, and they're invariably worn by guys who think they're stealthily getting away with wearing sneakers when dress shoes are required. There are so many better options for in-between shoes that there is literally no excuse to buy these.

Those are fine for running. I wouldn't wear them any other time though.

That's fine. I assume your neighbors have a car on blocks in front of their trailer.

Those might be the ugliest shoes ever made.

Picked up some of these for camping last weekend. They go real nice with boot cut jeans.

Don't look like they would be good winter shoes.

I wear these when I go running. That way I don't have to fool with earbuds.

I thought about getting Sperry boat shoes but then I thought to myself that in my history of living as a human being I've never witnessed a pair of shoes last less than 20 months. So then I went and thought about how much more expensive Sperry is than other brands that humans buy and came to the concluision that it would be financially retarded to buy Sperry boat shoes.

Punch yourself in the face for even suggesting it.
