    The wind in Colorado Springs yesterday was crazy. My friend down there was posting stories on facebook. Wind speed equal to a Cat 2 hurricane. Almost 2 dozen semis flipped over. Something like 300 power outages affecting 20k people. CDOT banned all high-profile vehicles, so the school buses couldn't take kids home. They were building a house across the street from his office, and all the framing got blown down. Wild.

    my mother-in-law's back yard fence blew down, down there

    oh and also in the crazy colorado weather news... 3 ski resorts closed because they are getting TOO MUCH snow

    A guy who works for me and lives in San Clemente owns a ski in/out condo at Mammoth (in the Sierras), and he told me yesterday that they've had between 9 and 14 feet of snow on the mountain over the past week.
